Mal (Sports Coach)

Mal has been teaching PE for over 26 years, thousands of children across Cheshire West has benefitted from Mal's expertise. Woodfall has welcomed Mal with open arms and we are lucky to have him teach us a variety of physically active skills/games. 

At a young age, Mal was the founding member of the Chester Jets Basketball Club (now Cheshire Phoenix) and played at national level for many years. He specialises in coaching an array of sports to benefit and include ALL children. 

Mal is currently the captain of the over 55's Great Britain Masters Basketball team and is due to participate in the world championships in Spain in 2022. 

In his spare time, Mal enjoys going to the theatre, reading all books related to the Titanic and playing the guitar.
