Catherine is one of the oldest and most consistently well used girls names. The name Catherine is of Greek origin meaning “pure”. I prefer to be known as Cath. My surname, Marsh is a topographic name for someone who lived by or in a marsh or fen.
I was born in Clatterbridge hospital and lived in New Ferry before moving to Neston just before my first birthday.
I have visited all the Greek islands a number of times, my favourite place to be is Cyprus where I have visited the ‘Tombs of the kings’, the ‘Kykkos Monastery’, ‘Paphos Castle’ and have bathed in the baths of Aphrodite, the Goddess of
Love and Beauty.
