Miss Hughes

Hello I'm Miss Hughes!

Hughes is welsh surname with the highest popularity deriving from Anglesey ( Ynys Môn ) in North Wales. Many of Miss Hughes’s family settled on this Welsh island and some still live there today...Miss Hughes is yet to learn the welsh language. She grew up on the Isle of Man until moving back to the Wirral for high school.

Miss Hughes lived in Boston, USA, coaching children different sports - which is why she loves PE. In fact, one of her main hobbies is to play netball. She also enjoys travelling around the world. So far she has visited the rainforests on the island of Borneo and the deserts of Israel, where she scuba dived with turtles and wild dolphins.

Miss Hughes has taught at Woodfall for 4 years now and she loves being apart of our school family. You will find Miss Hughes in Year 5, with her brightly coloured trainers and her morning cup of tea to start the day off!

We would love to hear from you
